The School of Psychological, Social and Behavioural Sciences covers a wide range of disciplines including Psychology, Criminology, Social Work, Youth Work, Community Studies and Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care.
The School provides a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate and CPD opportunities within these subject areas, with an underpinning ethos of social justice. The School has developed an international educational and research profile, collaborating with a number of institutions in the UK, Europe and overseas. With over 90 staff, and 2000 students, the ambitions of the School are to grow and diversify a high quality provision which benefits students, research and industry both in the UK and overseas. Having successfully introduced extensive campus-based and online learning facilities, we are delivering internationally-impacting research and market-leading professional development programmes.
